Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN)
FinCEN is responsible for preventing terrorism financing and money laundering. The Corporate Transparency Act (CTA), part of the Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2020, requires many entities to report information about their beneficial owners to FinCEN. FinCEN uses this information to create a nonpublic database that law enforcement and financial institutions can access.
FDIC Insurance Calculator – EDIE
EDIE lets consumers and bankers know, on a per-bank basis, how the insurance rules and limits apply to a depositor's specific group of deposit accounts—what's insured and what portion (if any) exceeds coverage limits at that bank. EDIE also allows the user to print the report for their records.
